Shakera C. Munnings writes under the pen name Kera C. Munnings:

A Bahamian-born author and creator of the Bicultural Series who currently resides in Kissimmee, Florida. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, a historic Caribbean port once known as the Pirate Republic, she developed a passion for storytelling through her love of history, travel, and cultural exploration.

 

Her stories are inspired by the places she has visited, the people she has encountered, and the diverse cultures that shape our world. Through the Bicultural Series, she blends action-adventure, historical romance, and multicultural storytelling to create immersive journeys filled with love, loyalty, destiny, and unforgettable characters. 

 

Drawing from both personal experiences and a fascination with human connection across cultures, her novels explore what happens when different worlds collide and hearts find common ground despite the obstacles between them.

In addition to the Bicultural Series, Munnings is currently expanding her literary universe with Queen of the Zodiac, an upcoming fantasy series inspired by mythology, celestial forces, and powerful heroines.

 

Kera holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Marketing (2004), blending creative vision with strategic insight in both storytelling and brand development.

 

Outside of writing, she values time with her family and unapologetically embraces her love of anime. This lifelong passion continues to influence her imagination, visual storytelling, and appreciation for epic world-building.

 

Her long-term vision is to see her stories adapted for television, bringing her layered worlds and complex characters to life on screen.
